The little mermaid live action
I can’t bring myself to watch the live action even tho I want to so badly. I love the little mermaid and I’ve seen all 3 movies and have even watched the tv show on Disney+. I’ve seen them multiple times and know them by heart. I was so excited for the little mermaid live action to come out but for some reason I can’t seem to bring myself to watch/finish it.😞 I try watching it and notice all the little things that are different and i knew it wasn’t going to be the exact same but some of the lines/dialogue just gets under my skin and my brain thinks “this isn’t how it goes” or “I don’t remember this/that” to the point I can’t enjoy the movie bc I’m focusing on what’s different. I have heard the songs on things like TikTok and I love them and Halle did a beautiful job singing snd playing Ariel (from what I’ve seen in clips)
so idk why my brain is fighting itself. I try to ignore it but for some reason I seem to hyper fixate on this… I want to watch the movie so badly. Anyone have any advice or any idea why my brain is being so complicated
I’d also like to mention that this is not only about Halle lines/dialogue it is other characters as well like Ursula for example or when King Triton and Sebastian speak at certain points and etc.
