In April 2010, multiple Gambino crime family soldiers and associates (including acting boss Daniel Marino) were arrested for their involvement on a sex ring by luring women (including a 15 years old girl) from strips clubs and advertising from Craigslist, driving them to specific locations around New York City and New Jersey during underground high-stakes poker games and forcing the women to offer their services to the poker players, for a certain amount of money, so the players could have sex with them. Afterwards they would drive the women back to their place, and take a big porcentagefrom the earnings the women made that night, and splitting the profits to the other mobsters who were involved in the ring.
