Looking for crash bar recommendations – 2025 Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice from people who have actually fitted and used crash bars on the CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports.
I have a 2025 Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT, and I have the Honda optional DCT foot shifter installed.
I was initially leaning towards Outback Motortek, as they seem to have one of the strongest and best-designed systems. However, I’ve found that their Engine Case Guards are officially listed as NOT compatible with the DCT foot shifter pedal.
Is it possible to install the Outback Motortek without removing the foot shifter?
If not I’m looking at alternatives, and HEED seems quite interesting. And compatible with the DCT additonal foot shifter pedal.
Has anyone here fitted HEED crash bars to a 2025 Adventure Sports, particularly a DCT with the foot shifter?
