how do i resign without making myself look bad?
for context, i’ve been working FOH at kfc (aus) for 6 months now where i’m still a trainee. i also received a “final warning” from my restaurant manager because i forgot to add a piece of chicken to an order. my manager said that he’ll begin to cut my shifts if i slip up one more time.
to add, i’ve been job hunting for the past month or so, where i plan to resign once i’ve finished a shift in a new job. i already understand with what to do to resign, but i’m just stuck on how to make myself not look bad since it just seems like i’m running away from all these warnings. i can’t even try to work harder since it’s my memory that needs fixing.
anyway, please help me out. i really want to get out of kfc. at this point, i don’t mind if i don’t get a job in time.
