Update on OsebowApp 🐆🇬🇭
A lot of you asked for a mobile app instead of just the website when I first posted here. I listened, and it’s almost ready.
We’re building it in React Native and it’ll launch on the Play Store first, then the App Store, by the end of the year. Same thing the web app does: check a number before you send money, see risk scores, report scammers, but built properly for your phone this time.
One thing the mobile app does that the web app doesn’t: after you search a number, you can unlock detailed intelligence right there. Screenshots of evidence, the actual reports people submitted, and you can even export the whole thing as a PDF. So if you need to show a family member, report to your bank, or just keep proof for yourself, it’s all there.
Before it goes public, I need real testers. Not just people who open it once and forget, but people who’ll actually use it for a few days, try checking numbers, reporting, the whole flow, and tell me honestly what’s broken or confusing.
If you’re on Android and want in:
→ Join the waitlist on the web app. Go to osebow.com, search any number, then tap “Unlock Detailed Intelligence” and fill your email and you’ll be added.
This app exists because of what happened to my mom, and it’s grown because of people like you sharing it, reporting numbers, and pushing me to build the mobile version. Appreciate every one of you who’s been part of this so far. 🐆🇬🇭
