A serial killer has captured you and is going to execute you unless “you can tell me even one notable thing you’ve done in your worthless life”. What do you say?

What Mr Serial Killer considers to be “notable” isn’t exactly clear, but what do you have to lose? You’re the one captured and about to be executed.

If you do manage to convince him, he unties you, gives you $10, and lets you go saying you’ve restored his faith in humanity.

So what do you say?

Your most “troublesome” family member or friend has just been taken away to jail for life. How does this affect your life?

What exactly “troublesome” means depends on you, but regardless, some government organization has decided to lock away that person in jail for life with no chance of ever leaving.

You can still keep in contact with that person in jail if you like, but that’s up to you.

If you have 0 “troublesome” people in your life you instead get a coupon for $10 off any meal at any restaurant.

Have you ever met anyone who actually "brute forced" their way out of poverty into success on their own?

The true "self-made person".

Think of someone who starts with the worst circumstances. Terrible family, bad neighborhood, no support system, subpar educational opportunities.

And in spite of all of that, that person finds a way to real above-average success through nothing but hard work and their own skill.

Ever actually meet someone like that?

Whoever you pick is stuck in the prison for as long as you want.

The magic prison is somewhere no one can reach. It can’t be breached by any army or weapons either. It’s basically invincible.

The staff there are magic workers who are completely loyal and will do anything you want, no questions asked.

If you want the prison to be a 5 star resort it can be.

If you want it to be a nightmare of torture and human rights violations, it can be. And anything in between.

So what do you do?
