Queue Times
Howdy! Played Marathon during the recent free weekend and loved it, reminds me of when Destiny was enjoyable and the themes of Halo tie it together for me. I bought it because of the Steam summer sale and convinced a mate to join me. However, we spent 80% of our 4 hour play session last night simply queuing for a duo game? We're both based in Australia and usually I can understand a bit of delay finding matches but seriously? We received an error 3 times last night whilst matchmaking saying there were no games found. Theres also only ONE map at a time running duos so it's not like the pool is too diluted or anything. I feel pretty disappointed as my friend didn't get the same experience I did during the free weekend and I feel I've robbed him $40. Is the game simply dead in Oceania 5 months after release? Are we doing something wrong? I don't think I can even refund the game due to the hours I put into it on the free weekend.
