Nikko vs Shuzenji vs Kusatsu

So I ended up with a dilemma regarding my itinerary for my late September travel in Japan (which is getting more packed the more I review it even if I don't move much): for my second week, after the last day of the Tokyo Gaming Show, I was considering a trip to FujiQ and Hakone (2D-1N), but the problem is after that. Kusatsu is a nice onsen town but that's it, there's nothing much to explore in the surroundings. Nikko has a great historical and lake/forest scenery, but Kinugawa onsen serves mostly as a resting point, the "modern" hotels and onsens looking a bit outdated. Lastly Shuzenji in the Izu peninsula combines boths but to a lesser extent ("jack of all trades") and is a bit trickier to arrive even if departing from Hakone.

Those (Hakone included) are my options for between the 22-25, I'm leaving the weekend for shopping and exploring Tokyo (specially its nightlife), with the possibility of one day for Disneysea, since my return flight is the 28th at night.

Opinions regarding Hakone staying

I heard a lot of good opinion about Hakone, but I usually found that people only do a full day visit to the place. I was planning a minimum of 2D-1N staying, but don't know then if it isn't too much time or if the destination is overrated (after all hotels in the area are pretty pricey). If that's the case I would like other options regarding traditional onsen ryokan destinations along the golden route (considering I'm traveling late September and many days collide with silver week)

Has anyone went to the Kyomaf or the Danjiri Matsuri in Kansai during September?

I'll be traveling in late September. My itinerary was mostly going to the Reitaisai (horse archery festival) the 16th in Kamakura, the 17th or 18th probably USJ, 19th in the morning Danjiri in Osaka, in the afternoon the Kyomaf and at night taking a bus to Tokyo to attend the Tokyo Game show the 20th-21th for my first week.

The problem is because it is the 30th anniversary of the TGS, there would probably be special merch the 19th that probably would not be available the following days. I haven't seen many reviews regarding the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (Kyomaf) nor the Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri, so don't know if otherwise I should entirely leave the Kansai region for my second week instead (Originally I was planning to return for the Uneme festival in Nara the 26th to continue visit the area)

I'm not exactly a noob, but I survived as Ethiopia against Italy, as China against Japan without losing any tiled coast, played with the Latin ABC countries and Mexico and managed not only to unify the region but even vanquish the USA, playing as Finland without giving up not one single county and defeating the USSR, as Bulgaria I unified the Balkans and defeated the USSR and treason the axis or allies after. With Austria and Hungary reformed the KuK and beaten the Axis and USSR, and that without telling bringing the new order with every axis power.

But with Czechoslovakia I really can't do anything: I imagine a country with a decent early industry, a good fort chain and even great national spirit would be an easy task, but no. Be with little entente or any other independent path, monarchist or fascist, result is the same: minor AI get defeated in few months and got full axis armies at my back, if that's not the case, soon you get the USSR attacking at your back, and even if not, with Molotov-Ribbentrop outcome it's the same as number 1. And of by some point I managing to advance the front by any route, the dumb AI front leave some huge holes that the damn Axis filled at the second, crumbling my defenses and end game again. If I go with many divisions my industry can't keep up due to lack of resources or supply consumption. If I manage to keep my army well supplied then at some point my divisions end up over extended and soon everyone is circled. The Allies nor the USSR ever go to war against Germany or Italy, nor Germany attack anyone else, seems like the whole AI Europe is waiting for me to fall so they can justify to fight against themselves, and that honestly is really frustrating.

In every lost battle, one common argument or fact was the pride and haughtiness of french knights, who usually not only rejected the better planned strategies of the more experienced local commanders, going full charge, but also their arrogance and lack of respect towards the local kings, only obeying their own leaders. This seems to be a recurring factor since the first crusade up until Varna.
