For context, I absolutely adore Mamdani, and I haven't been able to find anything that I really disagree with him on. But for that reason it gives me pause, because I believe no matter how much you like a politician you should always challenge and be skeptical of them. Do you think as economic conditions worsen, people will latch on to him more to the point where they believe he can do no wrong, or are his supporters smart enough to not lift him up to prophet-like status like MAGA does?

I am having trouble deciding between paying my car off and investing. I recently got my remaining PTO paid out after leaving a job for another, and am not sure what to do with the extra funds. My car's APR is 4.29% at $386/month with only $4300 remaining, and my stock YTD performance is at 12%. Financially it makes sense to just invest, but I can't help to think the psychological impact of having my car paid off would be great, and it's a flat 4.29% return, no fluctuating stocks. What do yall recommend?
