Lupus & M.S.

I'm wondering how many of you were diagnosed with M.S. before being diagnosed with Lupus... Almost 40 yrs ago I was told I had M.S.. It never felt like it quite fit. That wasn't denial. I could accept wherever the info led. I felt so sure this wasn't M.S. that I put up with a strong push back from the specialist when I refused the biologics that later came out. I couldn't accept the serious side effects when I wasn't sure of the dx.

Now it seems that it may very well be lupus. I was told when you have one auto-immune disease you can more easily have others. I'm not sure if it's true and it means little at this point in my life...

So, I ask who else was dx'd with M.S. before the final dx of Lupus ? .....

MG and hemangiomas in MRI

Have any of you diagnosed with Monoclonal Gammopathy ( with any type of significance,be it Renal or clinical, etc) had hemangiomas located in your thoracic / lumbar spine reported in your results ? Typically these are incidental findings however the radiologist writing the report alluded to the possibility that they may have some other significance for patients with Monoclonal Gammopathy.

This is not an isolated diagnosis. There are several other systemic ,auto-immune,Inflammatory ,GI, blood and dermatological conditions on board. This test was done as a result of a significant increase in bone pain and decrease in renal output, increased swelling, severely reduced ability to stand or walk ,among other things.

I have appts with neuro and hema/Oncologist coming up in a few weeks (unless these results suggest a sooner appt.). If this finding means something for patients dx'd with MG I'm curious about what to read up on prior to being seen...
