So something funny happened on our dinner date recently 😂

My wife and I had ordered a few things, including a mushroom sando. It arrived towards the end, and we had already started eating it when the waiter suddenly came over and said, “We’ll replace this. It’s a little burnt.”

The funny part is, we genuinely had no idea. We were happily eating it, thinking, “Yeah, I guess this is how it’s supposed to look.” 😂

Nobody had complained or asked them to replace it. They noticed it themselves and brought us another one, which I thought was pretty nice.

Also, the owner was personally going around asking people for feedback, and he spoke to us in Marathi. Small thing maybe, but as a Punekar, I loved that bit. 😄

Sante... Law college road... Elite.. Pricy... But good food..

I loved the ambiance. You know how some cafe owners go that extra step and make every sitting a beautiful, cozy place. This cafe is the same. Sit anywhere, and you'll love the vibe. The interior is just superb. I liked how their menu is full of vegan options. Jain, gluten-free, and vegan cuisine... In the heart of Pune... What else do you need?

The staff is really good. 9/10.

Maskawala is better than Irani Cafes

I genuinely feel that Irani Cafes are overrated. You get better food and great service at Maskawala. The vibe is so good. It feels soothing just to be there for a cup of chai.

Try their biryani... It's good...

Vegetarians... What do you guys order at Maskawala? I heard that their Paneer Maskawala sandwich is good but a little sweet...

So I had gone there with my friends. I love PFT's pasta and cheese garlic bread. Also, their cold coffee is too good.

But this time I decided to order something different. This hot chocolate and tart pastry was beyond my expectations.

FYI... They have recently shifted to Model Colony.

Usually, I don't go out and put reviews online. But this cake got my attention. I am on a strict diet as I want to control my weight and get back into my original shape. My wife is helping me (She is too strict). But since it was my birthday, I thought she would let me cheat. But she had different plans. She had ordered this cake.

NGL... one of the best cakes I have ever had. Bakeology is the brand name. Near Nal Stop, Pune. A must try. A little expensive though.

The reason I am writing this post is to help those who are looking for vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free cakes in Pune. Stay healthy. Stay happy.
