Hyundai want £11000 to replace EPCU in 2020 Kona
2 months ago I posted in here with my 2020 Kona having a load of error messages and not starting (https://www.reddit.com/r/KonaEV/comments/1tygzwq/kona\_with\_multiple\_warning\_messages\_on\_startup/). Our local garage replaced the 12V battery and reset lots of things, but couldn't get it to stay in a happy state.
It took this long to get an appointment at the Hyundai dealer, and they think it is the EPCU, and want over £11000 to replace it, and the warranty doesn't cover it.
Does anyone have any experience with this? The car is not worth repairing at this cost. Would an independent garage be able to replace the EPCU any cheaper?
