Doctor prescribed a medicine with belladonna in it

I (23F) have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 18. And since then, my mom has been determined to find the cure, she insists people HAVE been cured off of it and because of that, because she's against me taking the pills "forever", she has started paying even more attention to the health gurus on the internet. She found a doctor who claimed one of her patients was cured with a combination of two Syrups with weird a** names, whose bottles say one is for menopause and the other for neuralgia... The neuralgia one has belladonna in the ingredients...

I read about it, because the name stood out for me, and well... It's a highly toxic plant.

Am I supposed to drink this? Is this going to cause more harm than good? Does it actually work?

If I am to stop drinking this, I need arguments to convince my mother, I am disabled and she is trying to do the best for me, but she often thinks I don't know enough about these things.
