u/txaggiemike if you're reading this, I'm all ears! (and thank you for all your help). I've seen many of Mike's posts on CFI training, and in many of them he mentions that (for the purposes of a CFI checkride) you can control the length of your lesson plans ("training summaries"). How could I possibly condense this lesson on the NAS to 30 minutes? I have to include a schedule, and it just seems like wishful thinking to get it even under an hour. Any tips are appreciated, TIA
TL:DR- My question is- we need to prepare lesson plans to teach any of the Tasks in the Areas of Operations II - XIV? It is Area of Operation II - XIV (excluding AMEL/ASES etc. stuff for a CFI ASEL) that are the sections for which you need to prepare lesson plans? I know within those Areas of Operations, there are certain required tasks (like in AOO II, it says "The evaluator must select Tasks C, K, and at least one other Task"). I'm just asking "big picture"- it's AOO II - XIV that are the sections for which we need to prepare Lesson Plans for each task? Is that correct?
I am trying to confirm I understand exactly what the CFI ACS is requiring. I'm just trying to understand the "big picture". I know Todd Shelnutt has great videos and I've read TxAggieMike's (incredible helpful!) posts many times.
My understanding is, in the ACS, in Area of Operation I- that's the Fundamentals of Instruction which we need to know completely. My questions is: it's basically EVERY Area of Operation AFTER that, that we need to prepare lesson plans for?
