So context, my Shimano SLX brakes kena. Guy smart enough to unscrew and screw back on. Probably put the brakes in a plastic bag. Found this guy on carou not sure if he's sus or not, but he really pushing to sell. His account has a bit high amt of turnover parts, cannot point for sure. But the shifter model matches closely with my lost one.

Stays coincidentally near me too.

Before anyone asks, I park my bike outside my unit, locked. Still have a smart fella come up and take my brakes. Very sian now, lodged police report.

What do I do? My bike is a second hand, I have no records of its purchase from the first owner. Should I take it to any shimano dealer?
