Very happy with Sebastian's ending

I just finished watching the show for the first time and I have to say I was very happy with how his story ended. When Mary died earlier in the season , I was heartbroken and was worried that they wouldn't tie up his story properly. I knew the show was cancelled and I was really hoping it didn't just end abruptly.

But he got such a good ending, just as good as Anne and Gilbert. It's nice to know that he's going to be in an okay place with his step son, mom, and daughter. They even hinted at a possible romance between him and Miss Stacy.

The show of course would've benefitted from a proper final season. Just getting a taste of Gilbert and Anne at the end was such a tease and unfair for everyone waiting!

Happy 14th birthday to Alfie

My sweet boy is 14 today. I've had him since he was 2 months old. This will be his last birthday, I know I don't have much time left with him. The most loyal dog, the most loyal breed.

Fiber Gourmet have updated nutritional labels in Canada

Has anyone in Canada noticed the updated nutritional labels on the Fiber Gourmet pastas? I just ordered new ones after running out and noticed they've placed stickers over the old nutritional labels. It's now 56g of dried pasta for 150 calories(used to be 110 cals). All other info is the same.

I went to their site and this is what they say:

" The nutrition label might look different depending on the country where the product is being sold. If you are looking at the Canadian version, the caloric count will seem higher than the US version.

According to the US (and many other countries) the fiber we use is considered 0 calories. In Canada the fibre counts as 2 (not 0).

This makes it look like the Canadian product has more calories. It’s the same product, but different systems.

Please rest assured that the formulation is exactly the same and you can enjoy the same delicious flavor, wherever you are!"

Interesting that Canada requires them to count fiber as calories. I wonder why that is.
