I got laid off from my job that paid $92k a year. After months without work, I can't even find a job. I'm honestly scared.
I'm honestly terrified that the highest income I could reach in my career has already happened and passed. My brother makes $135k CAD a year and still feels like he's barely getting by. I might never again find a job that pays me anything close to what my old job paid. And I'm 37. I might never have that kind of income again.
So goodbye to the idea of owning a place, or having kids... And all that. I'm really scared about what this means for the rest of my life.
I mean... Is this it?
