Hi all, I just received this email from NUS saying:

For context, I’m the same person who posted previously about my NUS CS application still being pending despite having 3.97 GPA from poly (not including first choice bonus points). I also uploaded my RP UMP math cert on 5 May because I initially didn’t meet the math requirement.

Now I’m honestly not sure how to interpret this email 😭

Does this mean:

• I’m still genuinely being considered?
• has anyone from previous years received this and still got offered later?

The waiting is damn stressful HAHA especially since it’s already quite late into the admissions cycle.

Would appreciate if anyone has similar experience or knows how NUS handles these cases 🙏

Hi everyone, kinda anxious right now so just wanted to ask if anyone is in the same situation 😭

I graduated from poly with a 3.97 GPA, and with first choice bonus points my GPA becomes 4.01. I applied for NUS CS but my application status is still pending until now.

One issue is that I didn’t have an acceptable math qualification initially, so I took the RP UMP math course and uploaded the cert on 5 May after receiving it. Since then there’s been no update at all.

Now I’m wondering if:

• my application is still being processed because of the late cert submission
• or if I’m basically rejected already and they just haven’t updated the portal 😭
• are CS slots probably already filled up by now?

Honestly thought my GPA would at least make me somewhat competitive, so the waiting is making me overthink a lot HAHA.

Would appreciate if anyone from poly / previous batches had similar experiences or knows how NUS handles pending applications this late 🙏
