Maxing out vs. Match and putting money elsewhere?
I've been a fed for a little over 2.5 years, 28, GS11, and putting in 9%. I made some mistakes with TSP by moving around my money without fully understanding what I was doing but got back on track about a year ago.
My supervisor recently told me that after the 5% match im better off putting anything more elsewhere. What are your thoughts on this? Are yall all in on TSP or are you putting your "extra" after match money elsewhere?
