I am taking three Spanish courses (Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3 Honors) in high school. But someone told me that I need to take AP Spanish in order to have my chances of getting into UCLA or Berkeley. Is it true? Will only 3 years of Spanish hurt my chances ?
I am a STEM person and I am keen on taking organic chemistry instead of AP Spanish . Is there anyone who has been accepted to these universities without 4th year of world language ?

To BU Promys 2026 alumni: Were there any rising juniors who participated in the 2026 program? If so, could you please share the number of participants? I'm trying to assess whether it's worth applying for the 2027 program 😊. I have heard they prioritize rising seniors .

How do you practice AIME problem-solving other than using the old question sets?

I see a lot of parole are doing non trivial research . is it legit ? How good or bad is their program? Does it have impact on college application?

Does Garcia accept sophomore students (rising junior) ?

Hi I am a rising sophomore and going to attend a summer math program in few days ( not math camp , Ross or Promys ) . I am generally good at stem but have not decided on my major yet . I love math but haven’t qualified for USAJMO yet (Aime score 10 ) . USABO semifinalist and Usnco national qualifier . Usamts silver . don’t have any research experience yet .

For next year summer should I try to get into a tier 1 math programs(Promys or Ross) or try for science research program like sstp , Garcia , Welch , other science research summer programs ? I am little confused . Math programs applications are very time consuming . So applying to all programs is not possible. Please suggest .
