If you changed the sensor life span, what would you say?

Would anyone else feel the same that 15 days would not be enough or maybe they have another value they prefer?

Obviously not infinity days or even zero days, but would y’all have wished they lasted longer or is 15 days just right for you?

Storytime!

Today somehow marks the day I had a sensor that failed before it even had a voice. I was managing type 2 since August 2024 and now about 1.6 years later somehow I had a sensor that not only failed but it provided absolutely no readings. I’d assume this doesnt happen as much as sensors that do fail for blatant false low readings. And somehow May 3rd, I have lost a sensor over a misalignment! Especially when my last 2 sensors were due to inaccurate readings.

I know the principle to applying a new sensor (shower, dry, apply, skin tac) but this one has felt like the biggest BS I had because of all my failures this one never had a chance. I had to finger poke for a few days because of this

Back to the question, do any of you ever have sensors that failed before they started to read anything? I’ve seen this happen before when someone’s dexcom failed, but I want to know what were y’alls experiences like.
