Building in the T1 is my worst experience so far.
Hi.
Please dont take this post as salty as it might sound, I just want to share my experience so that other may learn from it.
I dont think I've ever had a worse experience building a pc, or anything else for that matter. I got off work today exited to finally build in my T1 as I had gotten all the parts I needed.
I started unboxing and assemble the case. Ran into issues on the first step, the side bars didnt fit in the slots on the backpiece. Frontpiece they fit fine so not an issue with the bars themselves. No biggie, I can file the slot a little bigger to fit it.
Manage that and moved forward, was about to mount the standoffs for the motherboard when I noticed that the assembly instruction didnt match the standoffs I had, the only difference is that I was missing the one with longer threads.
I scrolled through instruction quickly and didnt see anywhere that it would matter so installed the 4 6mm standoffs I had and started to mount the PSU, could only get 3 out of 4 screws to fit, and here is where I stopped, as the next step would include tearing down the pc I'm writing this post from.
I had enough of the issues and didnt want to tear apart a working system no longer trusting that I'd even be able to complete the build in the T1.
I will be reaching out to support to see if i can get a replacement. I hope this happens to nobody else.
