I’m sure many of you know the debate about Christianity, tarot, people claiming you can’t be Christian if you use Tarot, etc.. I never fed into the religious debates nor cared to look at it deeper until recent..

so for the past two months my boyfriend has been hinting to me that Tarot seems to either not work or just be a bad idea and refers to it as occult or demonic.. i can be wrong but i found the origins were 1500’s and occult didn’t take it over until 1900’s despite this, does that still mean tarot was overall taken over / not in alignment with a \*true\* God/Christian devoted life like he expects? (idk i guess he wants me to churn butter somewhere outside? not too sure yet)

I always found it to be about your intentions however, maybe if it is inherently adapted for more occult / witchcraft regardless of if you call yourself a witch, regardless of if you practice witchcraft the energy will still be there? i always thought it to be person specific.

anyways, please don’t laugh at me. I know I have a shitty taste in men, but he’s been sending me free mason videos about how tarot is bad so does anybody have any really good YouTube video to counteract his claims or his current mindset and give real perspective of tarot.. or is he more right of viewpoint of tarot being occult/demonic/bad energy welcomed into homes?
