I'm not talking romantically or some scene that pertains to the plot. Just something early in the film where they're just talking, maybe people watching, or hanging out at each other's apartment, and chewing the fat. I can imagine Nick cracking a joke, Judy laughing, then following the joke up to make him laugh or something. Them ribbing each other for a little before heading out someplace. I dunno. I know that's very anti-Hollywood but I really appreciate it when "kids' films" slow down and let the characters feel like people for a little bit even (and especially) if it doesn't progress the plot or character development in any meaningful way. Just something random that popped in my head.

Not exactly a popular opinion (probably a room temperature one)...

But I actually liked Nibbles. I thought she was funny and was a great comedic partner to Nick. It sort of allowed him to act as the straight man to her absurdity. And in some ways, she sort of flipped the relationship Nick and Judy have had with respect to dynamics. Judy's usually the more serious of the pair with Nick being the jokester. Nibbles isn't really the same but around her Nick sort of takes on a more serious and more "is she being serious?" role. One shot in particular in Zootopia 2 has him trying to pick the lock of his jail cell with Nibbles loudly chewing on a piece of wood, his patience wearing thin.

I dunno, I liked her character and I hope they don't abandon her for this third film. Just my/an opinion.
