Ye Olde Pyke Place Market

Upgrading my Medieval Seaside Market set a bit to fit in my larger Kraken port and castle build. Mostly color swapped, added tiling and more dock space and built it up more into an island with some new features and a crane. From seattle and trying to build little Easter eggs in for Kraken hockey and other local things and pyke place felt right.

Castle Mill MOC

Incorporating my first practice MOC from a year ago (2nd photo) into my larger castle build and did a floor to steeple remodel of my windmill, adding some detail inside with a grindstone and wheat mill as well as a water wheel for the river flowing past the castle.

Still want to make it a bit more functional with some gears to make something move when the wheels spin but need to get some better technic pieces organized as a future project, any suggestions on good places to look for instructions on that are appreciated!

Is Dragons Tale DnD Set Worth It?

I have $350 to spend on Lego, sort of a Brewsters Millions situation where I use it or lose it by the middle of July. I can spend it on other things but want to get more Lego since that’s an option.

I have so many bricks and other castle sets already, and am not necessarily a DnD specific fan but do like fantasy stuff, is this set worth it if you’re not like into DnD directly? I don’t know what the non-dragon animals are like an owl bear and stuff.

Would fit right in my remaining budget to get it but could use some opinions! Thanks!

Walled Port of Ink Harbor

Continuing along from my Krakens Gate build, I’ve finished the major parts of the rest of the wall surrounding what will eventually be Ink Harbor.

Planning to build in space for my Kraken ships, wharfs and fishing areas, incorporating my medieval seaside market and recolored/caste-ized Italian riviera sets.

Gates open and close, one on the right raises and lowers with a crank.

Tower features an armory, quarters for a guard captain, and lookout tower. Over the main gate there is a barracks for the guards and a bell tower.

Ignore the giant white bars, joys of expensive built in closets we want to keep intact but present a fun building challenge to go around them!

Have this azelea we planted last year at our front door, it gets good sun and water where it is and I think it is in an appropriately draining and sized pot for it at this size.

It was a beautiful last year around this time and I see it comes back potentially in the later summer maybe. Is it just dead though? Hate to replace something if it comes back but also would like my front door to look a little better.

Not sure if it’s dead, dying for some reason or what. Just standard soil the plant came in and some potting soil in there as well

Pacific Northwest is the location

Thanks!
