How I easily obliterated my hair bumps
Order “Damatol” on Amazon. This is going to sound like an ad because it is. I’m not sponsored by Damatol or anything…I just want everyone to get their confidence back ASAP, like I did.
I fought hair bumps on the back of my neck, daily, for 15 years. I’ve always rocked a fade because I was in the Marines and I liked the look. Now that my hair is thinning, fades are my only option. Anyways, I always tried to position myself in a way that people around me weren’t staring directly at my bumped up neck. It was not fun and it really killed my self esteem.
I tried damn near everything. Kitti kitti, tendskin, tea tree oil, diet changes, exfoliating, different folliculitis shampoos, lotioning the area, alcohol, picking out in-grown hairs, growing out my neck hair…my neck would look a little better for a day or two (I’d only have maybe 8 bumps rather than 10)…then I’d get a big angry bump and I’d be back at square one.
When I ordered this, I didn’t have much hope for it because of the past failures. I told my wife that I was trying something new, and she asked what it was. I showed her the amazon picture and she said “Hmmm sulfer promotes healthy hair growth, it might work” (she’s an equestrian veterinarian). That gave me a little confidence.
When it arrived, I rushed to take a shower so I could apply Damatol with open, clean pores. After the shower, I put it on and it stung like a SOB lol. It felt like after-shave. I was unsure if I was having an allergic reaction because of how bad it stung and for its duration. The stinging lasted for about 5 minutes, and then it subsided. It does have a little bit of a scent but I don’t think others smell it unless they’re trying to smell you for some reason. It’s a little greasy (think thin coat of Vaseline) but it’s not horrible.
After about a week of applying this every day first thing in the morning and once before bed, my bumps were completely gone. My neck is smooth to the touch. I was shocked! This whole journey started about a month ago and I’ve given myself 2 skin fades since with no recurrence of the bumps. I continue to use it daily, and the stinging is more of a cooling sensation now. The redness on the back of my neck is subsiding, but it’s still a little red. I’m okay with red. I’m not okay with having a braille neck lol.
SOOOO, I wrote this with the hopes that someone reads this and gets similar results. Dont stop using this until the bumps are gone. It might take longer for you, I have no idea…I just know my story. If this helps you, do me a favor (I get joy out of helping people) and shoot me a PM or respond on this thread. Also, if it helps you, make it your life mission to help others with this knowledge. No one should have to be self conscious about something you can’t hide. If you see someone with bumps, make sure they put this in their Amazon cart lol. That’s what I set out to do. I’m sure this will work on bumps that happen under the chin as well.
