Random MasterChef AU question: Why is the first dish the judges call up almost always a good one?
I've noticed that it isn't always the Dish of the Day, but the first contestant called nearly always gets positive feedback. Do the judges already know which dishes are likely to be the best and intentionally start with a strong dish? Or is it just editing making it seem that way?
Has this ever been discussed by contestants or producers?
