Medical terminology. Good idea or eh?

I am taking anatomy next fall semester and I realized too late that Grossmont does offer a medical terminology class, even though it’s not required.
Would it be a good idea or pointless to take medical terminology alongside Anatomy?
Best idea would be to take over the summer but I just checked and there’s a long waitlist. (20 people)
I heard it’s easy and all classes are offered online. I even heard of someone taking it after Anatomy and still enjoyed the class…. But I want to take it if it would benefit my anatomy, microbiology, and physiology understanding.

Hello I am still a pre-pre nursing student. As in I am trying to get my prerequisites out of the way. Yes I probably should have taken my time instead of trying to finish as soon as possible, I added Anatomy on top of other needed classes. but now I’m seeking advice as of now…

I am passing anatomy but I really wanted that A. I was thinking it’s alright, I know I could do better so I will. I will just retake this Anatomy to get the better grade the second time around. I basics screwed up big time in the beginning, when tests are the only way to earn points. (There’s HW but only like 3 points each.) But I will finish out this semester anyways.

But I was told by several students, including the teacher, that if the class isn’t going how you want it to, just withdraw. That when applying to nursing schools a “W” looks better than a re-done class when a lower letter grade was already earned. Some school count W’s as redo and some don’t. But a letter grade is definitely counted in schools that allow a repeated (biology) course.

I am in California and I know these schools are more competitive. But I might not be in applying in California when I get around to finishing all my prerequisites. This might not be relevant but I am trying to keep all options open. We might be moving in a year and I want to be as prepared as I can be to apply when the time comes. I realize that lots of programs have their own unique requirements so if we end in a location where I need more things before I can apply I want to have the most obvious things out of the way.

Apologies if this was confusing, I know I may be overthinking a bit. But my last drop deadline is around the corner.
