questions and things

I tore my lisfranc on 5/6/26, and when that tore it also chipped off of bit of bone. I had surgery on 5/22/26(three screws in there). I had the splint on, and now I’m in a cast until 7/14/26. I’ll then go into a walking boot for gradual weight bearing.

Now, I have been nwb since 5/6, the day it happened. When my splint was taken off, it wasn’t hard to miss how floppy my foot/leg is. There is little to no strength left as a result of nwb. To any others who’s torn their lisfranc and had a similar process, how was it to start walking again ? I know there’s going to be pain and difficulty. I’m also anticipating having to build up all the strength back to walk better too.

My doctor also said that I’m not able to start physical therapy until after the screws are out, so I’m hoping there’s some low intensity exercises that I can do to get my leg/foot back. He said I should recover somewhat “fast” and well since I’m young(25) but who knows.

Any kind of advice about anything would be so welcomed ! This is the first injury I’ve ever had in my life :(

(Also if anyone has recommendations for sneakers for when I can start not wearing the boot !)

Lord Huron solo ticket ! Connecticut !

Just throwing this on here so it might get more attention because I really want someone to take this ticket off my hands and go see Lord Huron !! I bought the ticket months ago but have since had foot surgery and cannot go anymore. It’s for his concert on June 25(I think that’s the right day). It’s at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven. I’m trying to sell it on AXS. It’s really good seats ! It’s like as close as you can be without being in the pit ! It was quite a bit of money, but I’m lowballing the ticket price because I just don’t want the ticket to go to waste. Also let me know if this is even allowed to post like this, because I’m not too sure. 🩷🩷🧚🏻
