Hello people, how do you measure the gouges on the t joint for roughness requirments. If possible could you provide a picture with the tool.

Gtaw first layer .250

Smaw .500

Total.deposited weld thickness. 750

Thickness qualified for GTAW minimum .187 and max .500

For SMAW minimum .187 and max 1.00

Im having so much trouble with the weld deposit part could any of you guys help me out understanding it.
