Still grinding away. It felt like I briefly sped up, but today my progress has once again slowed to a crawl. Oh well. Hopefully in the next day or two I’ll finish detailing the peninsula and can move onto the main body of land in the west.

It’s getting there, slowly. Still a long way from the finish line but I’m not unhappy with the way things are going right now. Not looking forward to working on the larger mountains in the as-of-yet undetailed west end of this map though.

I feel like the longer I draw for the tinier and more intricate I make the details, which results in my progress grinding a snails pace, and the visual style feeling inconsistent. (You can see that the northern portion I’ve detailed more recently is much more squiggly than the central/southern areas.) At this rate it’ll take weeks.

Does anybody else experience this issue? Any tips and guidance appreciated.

Not certain how I feel about this unfinished map. I definitely need to get better quality colouring pencils (of maybe go back to paints). The hills are a bit of a mess. Any advice / tips would be appreciated
