How do people restart down a completely different path?
33M living in HCOL basically paycheck to paycheck with only a few thousand in savings. No support system like parents or friends available.
I see many posts about going back to school for 2-4 years to get a degree or upgrade their education, but how do people afford this? Do they quit their job and live off savings? Go into massive debt and hope to land a career to pay it off before retirement?
I feel stuck and would love a fresh start, but I'm not sure where to even begin with it.
