Isn't the Ending with Happy ending + Citadel Epilouge Mod just better?
I don't mean to offend anyone here, with all the endings beeing a bit controversial. Though i just finished my first playthrough with these mods installed, and the storytelling is simply just - better? I know EA tried to go with something more serious and cinematic for the original ones, but this just felt more natural and satisfying to see. Especially beeing able to play the Citadel DLC after the ending, you know when the war is over and you actually have something to celebrate.
It does have some downsides, like not telling some crutial information on the reapers that you normally get from the space-child. But if Bioware had gone with something in line with these mods, but with more polished and longer cutscenes - wouldn't that just be perfect?
Do we like this more just because we want something comforting after the original endings, or is it actually better? Or too bland to be the canon ending? What do you guys think?
