Hand dying a top

Do you think is it possible to achieve this exact pattern?

Do you have any tips for me please?
I want to hand dye a lace top but with this soft gradient style without looking saturated with bright colors.

Sorry I don’t know exactly what is the material of the original one, I only know that it’s vintage, so probably from the 2000s, my guess would be polyester.

Anyway, I’m planning to get a plain white one, either cotton or polyester, depending on what you guys suggest.

What ingredients do you think I would need? 🥺

Thanks
