I have a VCDS given to me by a friend. I’ve done coding on my old GLI so it’s now on its 3rd VIN. With the SFD on my 2026 Atlas I need to register the VCDS in my name, I think the cost from Ross tech is pretty steep here $99 ($199 and I can get 7 more VINs). Then it’s $50 for the year of SFD.

On the flip side I can get a OBDeleven 3 pro for $144, it also doesn’t seem to have the VIN locks of VCDS. The annual for SFD is I little more around $67.

Which way should I go? On paper it looks like OBDeleven has more features.

What are some of the things I can code out? I would like auto lock and remove the seatbelt reminder.

Looking at getting Weathertech liners, not sure if there are any better offerings for the Atlas.

Also do you know if you can get the CarGo mat for the back of the third row seats?
