How do I stop Spotify/Amazon Music from auto‑playing every time I start my 2026 CR‑V
I’m having an annoying issue with my 2026 Honda CR‑V hybrid and the built‑in music apps (Spotify and Amazon Music). Whenever I’m driving and open either app, the music plays normally. Before I turn off the car, I always physically pause the song in app as there is no way to close the app. The problem is, the next time I get into the car and start the engine, the CR‑V automatically launches the last music app and starts playing again on its own. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to fully stop/close the app so it doesn’t auto‑resume every time the car starts. Basically, I want the car to wait for me to choose whether I want music or not, instead of auto‑playing by default. Has anyone found a setting in the infotainment system, phone Bluetooth settings, or app settings that prevents this auto‑play behavior? Any tips would be appreciated.
