Is anyone else having major app sync / device issues this week to the point of obsolescence?

I have had my FitBit Inspire 3 for 3+ years now and mostly have had minimal issues, some bumps in the road here and there with syncing, but overall okay. Ever since the switch to Google health it has been hell on earth trying to sync this device to my app. My fitbit says today I've walked 16,000 steps, but my app says only 2,000, and for yesterday it says almost none at all despite being on my feet all day. It hasn't synced up properly in days, likely weeks, and I can't figure out what the issue is. I've restarted both devices, updated my ios, updated / restarted my fitbit, synced my google account to the new app, deleted the app, redownloaded, cleared the cache, updated all permission settings, removed from bluetooth, re-added, changed wifi, etc etc etc. Nothing is working. I am just confused and frustrated, I've been reading forums for hours now trying to figure out what to do but nothing is working. Is this an obvious fix that I am just not realizing? Is my app/device broken? Is anyone else experiencing this too? I am at a loss here.
