Ninja Creami Usefulness

Is getting a Ninja Creami worth it? I like nice cream, but my youngest kid LOVES frozen treats, and the non-dairy, processed food options at the store aren't ones I love. The non-vegan ones are worse. I make nice cream when I'm in the mood, but she's uninterested in nice cream, so I was thinking if I made more "traditional" ice creams with date sugar/syrup for her, it would still be better than store-bought. But I'm wondering if it's really worth it. If you have one, do you use it often enough to justify the steep cost?

Chip-a-holic

I love being vegan and on a WFPB diet.... except I absolutely cannot resist chips/crisps. I don't keep them at my home, but my workplace stocks them for free. I have trouble ever resisting. I've tried bringing healthier snacks but I always always go for the chips. I wouldn't mind except my last year's blood work showed slightly high triglycerides. Do any of you have something I could buy or make that fits that crunchy food mood that I could bring to work? (It has to be something prepared ahead of time, but I do have access to a microwave and fridge.) Thank you for your ideas!
