We’ve recently hired a gift processor to take over inputting gifts in our donor databse. Until recently this was done by an accountant.

I realized that for employee giving programs (like Benevity, Cybergrants) often Benevity is getting the hard credit and the donor is soft credited. This does not seem right, but I get why an accountant would do it that way!

For employee giving programs, how do you track crediting in your system?
