Respected Sir My ward ____________ Roll no.__________________ has appeared for the Class 12th Board Examination 2025-2026 from the CBSE affiliated Indian School ___ ( School No _) Sultanate of ___The examinations scheduled to be held after 28th Feb were subsequently cancelled due to the disturbance in Middle East Region and vide circular CBSE/CE/SPPS/2026/2 dtd 27/3/2026 we were notified thru the school authorities about the Assessment scheme related to Declaration of Results in the event of Cancellation exams.

We were assured thru the Circular above that this assessment policy will ensure that the students in the affected regions are not disadvantaged in their future academic career pursuits but the result is speaking the other way.

The Result declared on 13/05/2026 has shattered the morale of my ward and the whole family . It has been observed that the marks awarded for the cancelled exams are the same what my ward secured in the Preboards without even considering that there is always a scope of improvement in the scores in the CBSE board examinations in comparison with a stricter marking/ question pattern in the preboards conducted by schools.

The child had put in rigorous efforts post the Preboards for the final exams till the cancellation was announced , so isn't it UNJUSTIFIED to declare that the child will not have improved at all and assess the performance only on the basis of school conducted exam which are stricter.  

We express our dissatisfaction with the way the Board has handled the result of my child and referring to the Section 18 of the circular CBSE/CE/SPPS/2026/2 dtd 27/3/2026 we humbly request you to please consider providing opportunity to my child and many other affected students by conducting a fresh set of examinations for all the cancelled exams.

Please understand the Child’s future is at stake and they will carry the stigma for their whole life.

With Folded hands please consider my request and give another opportunity to my ward to appear for cancelled exams (more than one subject) and improve the mark sheet (copy attached).
