is it normal for vomiting spells to last over a month?

my last joint was on may 23rd, the day all this started for me. since then i've been throwing up on and off, but when i did research it said vomiting episodes last 24-72 hours. is this normal for chs or could it be something else?

will i be able to smoke again?

for the past 3 weeks i've been throwing up nonstop and unable to keep anything down, i've been to the ER 6 times and they haven't been able to give me a solid answer besides speculating it might be CHS.

i was talking to my father (who has been a stoner for 20+ years) about it and he said that this means i can never smoke weed again — i just want to know if that's true or not? for information, i've never smoked flower, only the THC carts that you can get at a government store, but i read that with CHS it has to be long term use? i was only smoking them from around january until about 6 weeks ago; which leads to another question, can CHS just come out of nowhere when you decide to sober up? because i was fine for a few weeks and then it all went downhill. honestly i just want to smoke weed again one day with my buddies without worrying about this coming back all over again.
