If anyone tried applying,not top iit people did u get a response/OA(if not automatic) ever

I'm an student from 2nd gen iit , I'm thinking to apply for mfe this season,I wanted to know how's the hiring prospects for international grads coming up there recently.Are firms preferring mostly domestic candidates ,I wanted to know this cuz I'll be spending a lot on loan to get into the market with the mfe . Might help me to know the current market situation

Any recent people who joined mfes/seniors who are checking with ur peers what's happening there can answer accordingly

Do ur resume projects matter in interviews

For off campus what matters the most other than credentials like Olympiads,top iit circuital etc

Recently applied for an QR role there got an assignment

All the regionals and finalists (4th yr people)who were selected in QFest last yr,were u given any interviews for graduate roles/6m opportunity for QR/QT not QD

Like imc is present did anyone get interview for graduate trader role?

Also when u are in the ecosystem of IICPC ,when firms decide to give interviews for qr/qt roles ,do they take consideration of people on top of the food chain(like top iit (B,D,M,K) cs,ee grads and INMO(or above)/inoi Olympiad rankers,high cgs 9.5/9+++ ) for regionalists/finalists or will everyone give the same chance for OAs/interviews.

Like I wanna know if some high credentials student as mentioned above ,he would get the same ON campus also since he's from top iits as also the almost same firms visit there,what opportunity would someone not from top iits get if he is in QFest as a regionalist/Finalist

Only Quant dev/Software dev(TRC) roles right?

My doubt is only about QR/QT roles for graduates and how interviews are given inside IICPC by sponsers

Like I saw posts of IICPC getting into bootcamps/rounds of interviews of people (They are most prob 3rd yr interns)

For those who interviewed/recieved offers with squarepoint for DQA ,can u share ur exp as what type of questions were asked in those rounds and what should one be prepared more for this role other than the usual dsa and prob.Do they ask stats a lot?

Is it possible to get qr interviews off campus (I know many people have great profile than me i.e multiple Olympiads,top iit drs etc)

If yes why(does anyone having similar profile get any interviews if u know any)

Any things I could try to strengthen my profile or any ways to get interviews other than spamming recruiters

I'm just a junior and wanted to know some good methods on how to get interviews Let's leave about background for now ,

Contact HR in LinkedIn (won't see messages mostly)

Mail the hr mail of the firm

Filling the role in the website or easy to apply(useful do we get return calls)

Or

The recruiter himself messages us if we have something in us

Any idea about these firms ,how they hire(pedigree or off campus), compensations and culture and growth terms

They see to be taking many people for intern in their 8th sem , how's the return offer rate(performance dependent or just taking and leaving ),and difficulty of the interviews according to someone who's interviewed there and the culture also if anyone knows anything and offer details .
