Scarlett Studio Issue plz help
( To preface my DAW is GarageBand )
I’ve never had an issue with my Scarlett Studio, but about last week when I would plug it in to my Mac onto GarageBand the lights for 1 and 2 would boot up green and the turn off, other buttons light up. Anyways it started getting glitchy on GarageBand, I’d have to click through Scarlet 1,2,3,4 and then go back to input 2 for the mic to work.
Well today it’s not recording anything at all, lights will boot up and then go off. In GarageBand I’m switching between 1,2,3,4 going back to input 2 and no audio is coming out.
I tried hitting the direct button to surpass the computer and nothing is coming out of the mic.
I’ve tested it the USBC is an issue it’s not, it’s also a direct plug in to the laptop.
I checked audio inputs and outputs on GarageBand, they’re set correctly as well as the audio inputs and outputs in the sound category in settings for the Mac itself.
I’ve also done the update on Focusright, and saw online someone said to set it to 48kHz which I did and nothing has changed..
I also tried adding a new track on GarageBand to see if the track is faulty and still nothing
Is there something else I can do??!? Is the Scarlett faulty ?? Is there something else I can try??
