Fanart of Ko and Pixel
I love the dynamics of the entire Rhapsody crew, but Ko and Pixel's "opposite aesthetic besties that still share brain cells" dynamic is definitely one of my favorites.
I tried drawing Ko's vest, but it just wasn't working.

I was told by a doctor at 14 that I most likely had PCOS but wasn't officially tested or diagnosed with it until after my first pelvic exam and some blood work a month and a half ago (nearly 13 years after it was first told I likely had it). All my blood work came back normal, not insulin resistant or pre-diabetic, estrogen and testosterone levels in the range they should be, just that my progesterone was lower than it should be (which she told me was very normal in women with PCOS).
I told her that I was only interested in the birth control to regulate my period because I'm aro-ace and sex doesn't interest me so pregnancy isn't a concern. She prescribed 3 months of dispirenone, ethinyl estradiol and levomefolate calcium tablets and scheduled a follow up to see how im doing on them after the 3 months.
I've been taking them for nearly a month now and my period started over a week ago. The first full period I've had in probably a year or more instead of just spotting for a day. But over the last couple of days I've been cramping more than i was before and bleeding a lot heavier than i had been. I actually bled THROUGH one of those thin heavy flow pads (never done that before) after 2 1/2 hours a couple of nights ago. Is this normal for the first period after starting birth control? Will it get lighter as my hormones or whatever level out? And any recommendations for menstrual cramp relief? I tried Tylenol a couple of days ago and i tried Aleve before bed last night and neither did anything for me. Thanks in advance.
