CSCA Exam's Language: Can I use Chinese-taught Maths exam results to apply for an English-taught program?

Hi everyone

I'm currently planning my application for an undergraduate program and i'd like to hear some advices from you guys.

After doing some research, it seems that Tongji has no longer offered the SGS (Shanghai Scholarship) for undergrads. So that leaves only 1 scholarship available: Tongji Excellence Student Scholarship, which specifically targets English-taught undergraduate students

Besides Tongji, I've decided to apply to 4 other universities (including Donghua Uni) but all of them are Chinese-taught programs

This has left me in a huge dilemma regarding the CSCA exam:

  1. Which language should i choose for the Maths exam? If i choose English (to suit Tongji) the other university that i apply to as backup will not accept it (since i apply to the Chinese-taught program)
  2. If I take the Maths exam in Chinese, will Tongji still accept it for their Eng-taught program? Or am i forced to take the CSCA twice (once in Chinese, once in English)? btw Taking this test twice sounds like an absolute nightmare, so i really want to avoid it if possible

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Please helpp meee tysm<33
