OSX Install Issues on iBook G4
I’m currently trying to do a clean install of OSX on my iBook G4. However, regardless of which versions I try (Panther, Tiger) I cannot boot from the CD. I end up with a corrupted Apple logo. I suspect the PRAM is bad, but can’t verify.
Is there a way I can load my install files from a CD, to an external FireWire drive, and try boot/installing from that? I’ve got tools like Carbon Clone, if that helps.
Disc drive does work properly. No issues reading discs when I load into the current OSX install.
