Bottom middle and Bottom right are the Omada cameras from the Pioneer kit currently being tested at home. The other 4 cameras are streams from remote ViGi cameras, using ONVIF over a Site-to-Site IPsec VPN.

So far no issues with interfacing with remote or off-subnet cameras. The ViGi cameras remain controlled by the ViGi NVR in work as well

NExt week will be installing the kit in work, and testing Fusion Pro control over ViGi NVR locally through switch routed vlans!

How many of you run a Public WiFi, and what bandwidth do you give it?

Just curious to know, i think im too generous with a shared pool for the whole vlan of max 250/25 mbit and no individual client limit outside of that

We are struggling with pesky friends. Suggestions welcome !

So to preface this, i have been to the vet, and we are going back, but at this point, im willing to listen to anything and everything in terms of suggestions

Pesky fleas !

Its been hot and humid here in the UK, and it seems to have exploded the flea population.

Lucy takes a bravecto (fluralaner) every 3 months, last one at the end of may (so about 1.5 months in). Despite this, and regular flea shampoo washing, we keep finding the pesky little buggers.

In addition to this, we have tried two different formulation spot-ons in that time period (on vet instructions) and a selestro collar.

They just dont go away !

Other environmental things i have done / doing:
Virtually boil washing both our bedding every few days
Vacuuming every day
Flea spray / bombs of everything (permethrin / fipronyl tried both)

Its by no means an infestation, i check her every day and only see 3 to 4 in her coat, flea combing doesnt remove any more than that - and they are always only on her back. I dont see any on the floors, or carpets, or sofa when inspecting with magnifiying glass and bright flashlight.

I just dont know what else to do?!?!?!?!

As per vet advice we were trying to keep things at bay with weekly flea shampoo baths as well, but this has made her belly dry and flakey and a bit sore - its not a harsh or prescription one either.

All this started just a few weeks ago, and the 30c high humidity weather may be a contributing factor here as its not cooled down at all, with weeks more of this to go

Im trying everything i can think of, and i feel terrible because its like a losing battle and it makes me feel sad that im somehow dirty or my living spaces are unclean. Lucy on the other hand - unbothered, no itching or nibbling, doesnt care!

Today, up until about 10pm lucy has been absolutely fine. At 10pm, i got ready and from the kitchen called her for her evening toilet walk as i always do. She was fast asleep on my bed.

I heard her get up, struggle, a thud as she fell off the bed and she was in a heap on the floor. I helped her up, and she waddled into the kitchen and tried to pee on my rug (wasnt going to stop her at this point) but she lost her balance because she cant weight bear on her front right leg at all.

After a online consult we went to the 24hr emergency vets and she was getting thoroughy examined by a vet, but they only had one on duty vet and an emergency came in so they pumped lucy full of morphine and some kind of super anti inflammatory.

Initial findings dont suggest any broken bones, osteo etc, just a soft tissue trauma of some kind

I have to see how she is in the morning (its almost 2am now) and if she is just as lame get her in for an xray ASAP, if it isnt as bad then she needs at least a week of painkillers and rest.

She is currently high as a kite and panting heavily but now resting, please send her healing hugs !

Will update when i can

UPDATE 8am
She slept through the night and didnt move even a tiny bit. I kept checking on her but could tell she was ok because of the regular farting i could hear and smell. She managed to get up, and waddle outside, did a poo (no wee) and had a small half size breakfast then went straight back to my bed. She isnt weight bearing on it much, but its better than last night. No extreme panting or screaming or falling over, she can use it to balance now. Will call vets this morning and see what they advise. We both thank you for the best wishes

UPDATE 11.30AM
Just got back from a follow up vet visit, broken bone in foot! not sure how it hapenned but she has a months worth of pain relief and strict rest orders. Its not a major break, more a crack and sore tendon. They didnt set it because of how much she was struggling on 3 legs and didnt want her to fall again and hurt it even more (or the rest of that leg)

She has been toodling around a bit better, panting less and seems happier. Came to investigate cheese in the kitchen.
