SB needs to bring big hitters players into the squad for next season of The Hundred.
SB played 38 dot balls, twelve boundaries through four and one six.

Whenever the mega auction happens, DC needs to retain Belsy and Lucy Hamilton. They will learn skills, and they are prospects for DC.
At present, Lucy only has outswing for right handed batters, imagine Lucy includes inswing in her arsenal, and she will be lethal. And for sure, Lucy will learn to swing both ways.
Belsy can also fill the shoes of Marizanne in DC, because Kappi is 36, and Belsy is a good all rounder.
David Warner replies to Parth's tweet.
DC owners always had the habit of releasing players who gave everything to DC.
So, who's next to leave DC.

Kuldeep is a match winning spinner, and being an Indian bowler gives an additional strategic advantage in playing 11. Prior to last season, he took 15 wickets at an economy of 7, while other bowlers were getting carted around freely.
A top quality Indian wrist spinner is an extremely rare commodity in the IPL, and you only truly understand his value when you don't have one.
Just look at the teams that lack a quality spinner, they always struggle to find a good spinner. SRH have been searching ever since they released Rashid. LSG have struggled with the likes of Ravi and Digvesh, and now DC are essentially handing them Kuldeep on a plate. CSK had to bring in Noor Ahmed, which cost them a precious foreign slot in the playing 11. RCB went through an entire cycle of misery under Faf's captaincy without a reliable spinner.
With this deal, LSG walk away as the biggest beneficiaries, and it is just a start. Big DC players who have given everything to DC, passionate about the team, are going to leave DC.
JSW and Parth's favouritism towards Rishabh. The last mistake DC made was snatching the captaincy from Shreyas and giving it to Rishabh. After that, DC went downhill; even Ricky was helpless when Rishabh captained DC.

People who are new to women's cricket or WPL, the player in the photo is a talented wicket keeper batter from Scotland.
Her name is Sarah Bryce, and she played in 2025 season of the WPL for the Delhi Capitals. So she is a DC blood or better say The Queen of Delhi Capitals.
All the best to Sarah and her team.
Ian Bell, Axar Patel, and even KL rate him highly, and even ESPNCricinfo experts consider him a future player to watch. Yes, it's a process, where he can become a player like Abhishek Sharma.
The DC coach and the captain were confused about the batting lineup, and they didn't utilise their resources properly. Tristan's best position was to bat at 3, he starts slow but finishes the game, and he has proved this in the SA20. However, either Sameer, Nitish, or Axar came to bat at 3 or 4 to which led to underutilise his potential for the team.
He can play a similar role for DC, as the role Virat or Sai or Dhruv or Heinrich plays for their respective team, which is the backbone of the middle order for Delhi Capitals.
Agree with Irfan Pathan, and DC should trust in these players. With an imbalanced playing 11 like opening with Pathum and constantly changing the number 3 costs DC. Also Irfan said on his youtube that, DC should have started with Lungi, Kyle/Dusmantha with Tristan and David and Ashutosh as a finisher, which would have provided DC a better balance.
Players' individual mistakes like against gt, csk, srh and pk do cost DC, and at last, out of form of key players like Tristan, Kuldeep, Nitish, Axar, and Vipraj also affected DC.
With that it doesn't mean DC should not belive in the squad, like GT believed in Rashid and Kagiso, srh believed in Heinrich, kkr believed in Varun, Sunil and Andre Russel earlier, Mi and csk will believe in Jasprit and Dewald, same way Delhi Capitals should believe in Kuldeep, Tristan, Axar, Vipraj, Mitchell (because few people were furious on Mitchell).
This DC Squad is strong, it just needed a few replacements in the Indian pace bowling lineup, and it's good. Believe in this team. It was a season where DC made individual mistakes, players were out of form, but hey, like srh believed in Heinrich, gt believed in Rashid and Kagiso, and Mumbai will believe in Jasprit.
Same DC needs to believe in this squad and their key players like Kuldeep, Tristan, Axar, and Mitchell. They are match winners for the Delhi Capitals.

>Delhi Capitals need a complete coaching overhaul with Sourav Ganguly as head coach and Shaun Pollock as bowling coach. That said, the old coaching staff shouldn't be discarded entirely.
They should be moved into domestic scouting roles, because one thing is undeniable, under GMR's watch, DC have consistently scouted some genuinely talented young players.
> On the retention front, DC must retain the entire squad, including Axar, Kuldeep, Tristan, Lungi, Ashutosh, KL Rahul, Mitchell, and Madhav. Including Hardik would create an identity crisis. Either DC sacrifice Lungi or Mitchell and weaken their death bowling, or they lose Axar or Kuldeep and gut their spin department entirely. Worst of all, they risk losing DC's DNA, because Kuldeep, Tristan, and Axar aren't just players, they are the DNA of this franchise.
> What DC should focus on is hunting for quality domestic talent at the auction table, exactly how they discovered Madhav, Sahil, and Ajay. That's the DC way, and it's worked in WPL, and obviously, it worked in the IPL auction table.
