I got offered a 2b/4p apt at Weyburn for this upcoming year and I was wondering how can I end up with my roommates? I’m an incoming transfer and had been planning to room with 3 other girls (also incoming transfers) in a 2b/4p apt. However, when doing the housing contract, roommate groups only allowed 3 ppl max… (why are roommate groups only 3 ppl max, when there’s room options for 4p & 8p 🙄). Anyways the plan was that them 3 would be in the roommate group and once we get the same building & room assignments, they would request me through CAR. We all got assigned 2b/4p at Weyburn but don’t have an apt number yet, and were wondering how they can request me to be the 4th roommate? When trying to do CAR, the roommate option only allows them to request their roommate group… anyone know what to do??

Hi, i’m a transfer from the bay who’s going to be starting in the fall. Just wondering how is everyone finding roommates or have found their roommates in the past? i’m thinking of doing random (last case scenario) but i also would like to make friends and room w ppl i already know. i’ve tried looking at the class pages at ucla on ig and talked w some other transfers on tiktok but like most ppl are already roommates w someone or commuting. I didn’t expect finding roommates would be this hard 😭
