Advice on 5 day workout plan

Hey guys!

I've been out of the gym for almost a year now. Recently got back last month and been slowly getting myself back into it.

I've found a 5 day workout plan from a YouTube video that I'll outline below. After each workout day, I intend to do 20-30 mins of incline walking on a treadmill.

Day 1 Push 1

Flat press (2-3 sets of 6-9 reps)

Incline press (2-3 sets of 8-10 reps)

Lateral raise (2-3 sets of 15-20 reps)

Cable tricep push down (2-3 sets of 15-20reps) Overhead cable tricep extension (2-3 sets of 6-10 reps)

Day 2 Pull 1

Lat pull down (2-3 sets of 12-15 reps)

Rows (2-3 sets of 12-15 reps)

Rear delt (2 sets of 15-20 reps)

Bicep barbell curls (2-3 sets of 8-10 reps)

Incline dumbbell curls (2-3 sets of 12-15 reps)

Day 3 Quad leg day

Squats (2-3 sets of 6-9 reps)

Leg press (2-3 sets of 10-12 reps)

Leg extensions (2 sets of 12-15 reps)

Lying leg curl (2 sets of 12-15 reps)

Calves (2-3 sets of 12-15 reps)

Are there improvements I can make to this routine? Perhaps there are exercises here that should be substituted for another? Or perhaps another variation of an exercise? Open to all suggestions.

Also, on the rest days, I am wondering if I should do an ab workout since there are no ab-specific exercises throughout all the workout days. Abs are something I have never trained in my life, however I am keen to start now, and so would love suggestions on this too.
